WHY AMAZON FBA?

Amazon FBA, quite frankly, is amazing. For a relatively small fee (certainly less than fulfilling ourselves) Amazon will store, pick, pack and deliver your products to customers and even deal with returns. Whilst it is not a seamless process, it allows people like us to create physical product brands and businesses easily and efficiently.

Customers that are shopping on Amazon are often doing just that, shopping. Whilst many people browse numerous websites to research, people on Amazon are ready to buy. This means that we can take advantage of phenomenal conversion rates.

Whether you are newly starting or have an established business, you will benefit greatly from utilising FBA. Just consider these recent stats from Amazon (they are now likely to be much higher!):

  • In 2016, Amazon generated €22.99 billion from third party sellers like you and I.

  • Third party sellers account for over 50% of all sales on the platform

  • Four times as many sellers reach $1m in sales per year vs. eBay

  • In the US 55% of people make their search for a product on Amazon

Though all the above means Amazon FBA is an excellent opportunity, there are still many things that can lead to increased costs and missed opportunities! There are also many differences between the marketplaces - I can share many a costly problem that occurred through errors on my part, the part of my supplier or through not knowing the Amazon process well enough. Thankfully, I can also provide advice as to how to avoid them.
